As part of the two-week Open Topic Block of the Winter Semester 24/25 at HfK Bremen I had the opportunity to participate in the hands-on workshop on traditional and experimental weaving with Andreas Möller from Weberei Hamburg. Möller brought his own handmade looms with merino wool warp and gave us the freedom to experiment with di erent materials for the weft.
I experimented weaving using silver and gold plated wire for the weft in merino wool warp.
To complement the look I crocheted a chainmail and a necklace using grey wire.
