This project was part of the Creating with Shapes course by Prof. Kai Lehmann at HfK-Bremen. Exploring drape techiques, the goal was to recreate with fabric and pins the shape of a Meringue.
Inspired by Galtier's cone bra and medieval armours, I decided to create an armour of my own. But contrary to fashion’s symmetrical cone bras, I wanted a clearly asymmetrical one, reflecting the fluctuating asymmetry in our bodies.
I developed the patterns, sewed the vest, skirt, boots accessories and crocheted all the metallic accessories.
