C-THROUGH Fashion Show Visual Identity

C-THROUGH was a Fashion Show organized by the Fashion and Textiles students from the Hoschule für Künste Bremen that took place at the Waller Sand, part of the Hoschultage 2023 program of the HFK Bremen. With nearly 40 looks, the idea was that visitors could “see through” the works of the students. The location, although industrial, with beach vibes, to showcase but also celebrate all the hard-working hours that the students spent in the sewing workshop every day in that summer semester.
I was part of the organization of the event and responsible for the poster of the event.

To reflect the intimate and raw aspects of the show, it was important to me that the poster existed phisically, as an object to be observed from different angles and perspectives. Tools and materials from the textile world, as well as elements that evoked the location, used as visual assets.
The layout was first sketched with photo collages and then recreated. The tipograpy for the name of the show was done by hand with fabrics leftover from the students.
The phisical poster was then brought to the location of the fashion show and videos of it were captured and additional information were added digitally to the video afterwards.
